At Travel with Purpose, we’re proud of the places we’ve been and the people we’ve worked with. Below are some of the incredible locations we’ve visited, where we’ve spread peace and prosperity through our programs.
ANTIGUA
Liberta Sports Club is a perfect stop during your cruise or island adventure in Antigua. Local youth are incredibly welcoming and deeply appreciative of soccer supplies, equipment, and coaching tips. Visitors can run a clinic or spend an afternoon at the school, using the power of sport to inspire, connect, and truly brighten a child’s year.
BOTSWANA
Going on safari in Botswana? Stop in Gaborone to volunteer at Princess Marina Hospital. Medical volunteers can partner with UPenn-affiliated initiatives, while others can support families with sick children on the hematology-oncology unit through the Thrive Program by visiting the children and their families and brightening up their day with games, crafts and other activities. Through the Friendly Start initiatives, volunteers can help families with premature babies by bringing comfort, play, and hope to their families from across Botswana.

GHANA
Adakum Educational Foundation, Inc. (ADMEF.org), a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing educational and healthcare opportunities for underserved children and families in Ghana. Volunteer at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana, while experiencing a meaningful homestay that offers deep cultural immersion and community connection. Additional volunteer opportunities include visits and service projects at L&A Memorial Academy, St. Nicholas Primary School and The Adullam Orphanage. These programs allow volunteers to support healthcare, education, and child welfare while building meaningful relationships within local communities.
MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA
Having traveled extensively throughout Colombia and with partners on the ground, we can help vet and establish connections for you throughout the country with our trusted partners, many of whom we consider family! Through Children Change Colombia, the Emiliani Project, or other organizations, you can make an impact while exploring the beautiful landscape of Colombia.

BELIZE
At Victory Belize, the sky is the limit when it comes to creating opportunities for at-risk youth. Whether through your profession or a personal passion, sharing your skills helps expand horizons, build confidence, and unlock potential. Together, we can create opportunities for young people to make memories—and futures—that last a lifetime. Have a little extra room in your bag? Consider packing sports equipment, school supplies, shoes, clothing, or small prize items to support local youth.
CUBA
Free Court Peace organizes service trips centered around sports and mentorship to Cuba, locations across Central and South America, and the United States for teens and their families. These experiences offer a powerful opportunity to immerse in local cultures, give back through sport, and make a meaningful impact in communities in need.
ARUSHA, TANZANIA
We support Osiligi Hope Orphanage and its outreach programs serving women caring for children with disabilities, as well as the School for Deaf, Albino, and disabled children. Together, we have raised over $10,000 for Osiligi Hope, funding the installation of water storage tanks, the construction of a protective wall, and direct sponsorships for orphans, covering essential education, healthcare, and daily living expenses. We remain deeply committed to Osiligi Hope Orphanage and continue to fundraise for this organization year-round, with plans to host a dedicated fundraising event in Spring 2026 to expand our impact and sustain long-term support.
ALASKA
Taking an Alaska cruise? Make a meaningful impact by spending a day volunteering at the Hope Center in Anchorage. Volunteers help serve meals, stock the food pantry, organize the clothing pantry, and support individuals experiencing homelessness—turning a stopover into an opportunity to give back.
NICARAGUA
Xmas break 2025
We've partnered with Frontier Horizon to raise funds that sponsor tuition for Nicaraguan orphans and help fulfill children’s Christmas wishes, bringing both educational opportunity and joy to the holiday season. In collaboration with Funlimon’s youth football organization, we support fundraising efforts that sustain their sports-based programs. During the December 2025 holiday season, we led a soccer clinic for local youth as part of Funlimon’s Christmas Wish Program, combining mentorship, sport, and celebration. We have fundraised for both these organizations and brought supplies, clothing, and gifts for the holidays.
